Joseph Millar

Joseph Millar‘s first collection, Overtime, was a finalist for the 2001 Oregon Book Award. His second collection, Fortune, appeared in 2007, followed by a third, Blue Rust, in 2012. His latest collection, Kingdom, was released in early 2017. He has won fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as a Pushcart Prize and has appeared in such magazines as DoubleTakeTriQuarterlyThe Southern ReviewAPR, and Ploughshares.

Jon Thompson

Jon Thompson teaches in the English Department at NCSU, where he edits Free Verse: A Journal of Contemporary Poetry & Poetic. In addition, he edits a poetry series, Free Verse Editions, which publishes 4-6 new collections per year, and he is also the editor behind a new project, Illuminations: A Series on American Poetics. His last book was Strange Country (Shearsman Books, 2016). In April, his new collection, Notebook of Last Things will be released by Shearsman Books.
